Richard Hill is the Chair of Realize – a new non-government organisation (NGO) that promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities in Belize.
In this role he provides support and guidance to UNICEF and the Government of Belize to develop the appropriate social environment for individuals with disabilities.
From September 2001 to January 2002, Richard volunteered in Belize supporting individuals with disabilities and providing development information to schools. He has travelled widely, including in Asia and the South Pacific where he spent extended periods with communities in Vanuatu and Fiji.
Richard is an Associate of the Moller Centre, based at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. Here he works on programmes supporting initiatives to develop leadership. He also acts as Director on some programmes, including Future Connect – a British Council initiative to develop young leaders around the world.
In addition, Richard works as a consultant on a range of projects covering leadership, professional standards in finance, the military, and team and culture development in healthcare, education and financial services industries.
