Mark Julien is a multi-lingual Oxford graduate and holds a masters in Business Administration from Wharton.
He has a strong track record in business development, project management, pitch writing and presentations, team leadership, credit analysis and data analysis.
Mark rose from an associate director at Standard Chartered Bank, China, to become the bank’s Global Head of Client Engagement Effectiveness in Singapore.
In his current position, Mark has conceptualised, initiated and delivered industry-leading global client self-service web platform for onboarding new legal entities and products using agile development methodology. He has successfully led the development and rollout of the bank's latest customer relationship management platform and established a data analytics team to uncover and drive previously untapped revenue streams.
Before joining Standard Chartered, Mark founded Oxford Professional Training Limited – a high-tech professional training business that served top global companies such as Nokia, IBM and DHL in China. He also raised over US$1.5 million in investment from experienced angel investors.
Mark also serves as the Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Group's Seeing is Believing (SiB) programme committee. This oversees SiB's $100 million global portfolio of projects tackling avoidable blindness.
