Throughout his working life, Yame has been known as a hands-on leader. He is not content to simply delegate. He takes satisfaction in working with his team as much as through them, letting them see that even he is not afraid to roll up his sleeves, and lead by example.
Yame believes in shared values, helping people to help themselves through energy, enterprise, a practical approach. And he believes in sharing transformative ideas that move people forward together by sharing differing viewpoints to collectively derive value from common purpose.
Yame has over 11 years business management experience, working for various companies and institutions in Botswana. He is now the founder of two technology innovation social enterprises that work together on two of Botswana’s most pressing challenges – productivity and unlocking value in industry while bringing coherence to urban design challenges.
One of his enterprises is a drone data service startup at seed funding stage. The other is a sustainable cities design studio, which is currently at a service model validation stage.
