Uneku Atawodi-Edun

Uneku Atawodi-Edun is General Manager for the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) – a not-for-profit that invests in, and trains, African Entrepreneurs, to create Africa's next tech entrepreneurs and provide jobs for the continent.

Uneku has extensive experience as a self-starter entrepreneur, having spearheaded the launch-to-market of companies in various sectors under her watch.

Previously, Uneku worked as a Technical Advisor to the Ministry of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where she developed the FCT's revolutionary file tracking system.

She is passionate about empowering African entrepreneurs through tech, and was a member of the founding team for Africa's pioneer Impact Investment Tracking Platform.

She is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, and a Clinton Global Initiative Lead Mentor.

Uneku holds a masters in International Business from the European Business School, London, UK, and is an avid equestrian in her spare time. She was recently named as one of Forbes Africa's 30 under 30 and was a nominee for CNBC's Young African Entrepreneur of the year.
