Sylvanus SP Doe

Sylvanus SP Doe

Sylvanus SP Doe is a Sustainability Specialist and the Lead Promoter of the Green Oyster Initiative – a startup associated with the Switch-Africa Green (SAG-SEED) Programme.

He has considerable expertise in participatory engagements, planning and implementing development-environment interventions.

He travels extensively across Ghana, and gains international development experiences in 13 other countries, including the UK, Hungary, Sweden and Senegal.

He earned a post-graduate degree in Practising Sustainable Development from the Royal Holloway, University of London, UK. He has had further training from the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) Institute for Capacity Development and the Central European University.

He has been a Reader for the Mandela Washington Fellowship from 2014 to present and Reading Committee Member for the IREX Community Solutions Program from 2016 to 2017.

Sylvan is passionate about sustainability issues and authored a book entitled, Advancing sustainability in developing world in 2014.

Sylvan has been selected for the 2018 Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program at the University of California, Berkeley, USA.
