Sylvanus Bedzrah

Sylvanus Bedzrah is an award-winning writer, publisher and a student of the University of Professional Studies, Accra in Ghana, where he is studying for a bachelors in Public Relations Management.

He wrote his first book at age 14 but got it published at age 17 while in the Senior High School.

Sylvanus has, so far, three published books to his credit and has won six national awards as a writer, publisher and for his contributions to promoting reading in Ghana.

Notable among these awards are:

  • the Zain (Airtel) Touching Lives
  • Young Professional Writer of the Year
  • Young Impact Ghana Award
  • Student Writer of the Year
  • and the very recent 40Under40 Awards.

Sylvanus is an executive member of the Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) and a Reading Ambassador who has used the media to champion and promote the reading culture in Ghana.
