Roseline Kamdem Magne

Roseline Kamdem Magne has over ten years experience working with youths and women in rural communities of North West Cameroon.

She is passionate about the socio-economic empowerment of women, especially the girl child, at grassroots level and the education of children. She worked as Finance Manager for a local non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Cameroon, for six years, where she implemented successful income generating activities for women, especially in the area of micro credit.

Now Roseline works for a Swiss charity in Cameroon on educational and environmental projects for children and women.

She is an advisor for Sub Saharan Africa grantee partners at Frida the Young Feminist Fund, where she facilitates annual participatory grant-making process, support grantee partners’ capacity development and communication.

Roseline serves as a board member for Enfance Cameroon, a Franco-Cameroonian project which she founded with a friend to support the education of disadvantaged children of North West Cameroon.

Roseline is the Volunteer Co-ordinator for the African Youth Alliance Group, a youth-female-led organisation, which she founded with friends to empower women on leadership, sexual and reproductive health and rights, environmental protection.

Trained in International Elderly Women’s Policy by the United Nations, Roseline is also an Alumna of the United Nations Alliance Of Civilizations – Education First Summer School. She is a fellow of the Do School, Education Challenge Africa Programme in Berlin.

Roseline holds a masters in Marketing and Finance from the Catholic University of Central Africa.
