Oboh Achioyamen

Oboh Achioyamen a medical doctor by training, with experience in public health and community development.

His passion is empowering less privileged communities by speaking up for people who have no voice, for the rights of all the down-and-outers. He believes in speaking out for justice, standing up for the poor and destitute and building bridges not burning them.

He is also the initiator of Bolton Community Development Partnership (BCDP) in the UK – an organisation focused on identifying, mobilising and utilising the human and non-human assets in a community to help improve the wellbeing of residents.

He is also the initiator of Precious Gems Charity UK, African Council UK, Pentecostal Community Association (PCA). Each of these organisations are independent of each other and with their own teams.

Oboh is the publicly elected member of the Board of Governors for the Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.
