Mustapha Chouikha has been active in youth and civil society groups since 1988.
In 1991, he was appointed as a Youth Ambassador representing Africa and Europe, for the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development.
Over the years, he has served as:
- Co-ordinator of United Nations of Youth, in the Netherlands
- Co-ordinator Youth Ending Hunger Japan
- Country Director of Hunger Free World Japan
- and Chairman of the United Nations Contacting Team.
In 2005, he became the Chairman of Leadership for the Environement and Development (LEAD) Tunisia – a position he still holds.
Mustapha has a BA in Business Management for the Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Carthage, and a Post-graduate Diploma in Management of Natural Resources from the Institut Agronomique Méditerranéen of Montpellier.
