Helen Liu

Helen Liu

Hailing (Helen) has over 20 years' experience in research and development (R&D), product development, manufacturing, and project management.

Prior to joining industry, Helen worked in a variety of academic institutions in Canada, Britain, and China with research in environment and energy. After moving to Silicon Valley, Helen has a combined nine years of employment with Intel and Apple where she held various technical and management positions and obtained the prestigious Intel Achievement Award in 2003.

Currently, Helen is a Principal Scientist responsible for a process engineering team in the advanced development group within Aerospace, Defense and Marine division of TE Connectivity.

Helen obtained her PhD degree from University of Cambridge, her masters and bachelor degrees from Tianjin University, China – all in chemical engineering.

Helen is a certified Project Management Professional and Six Sigma Black Belt. She was also licensed as a professional engineer in Ontario, Canada.

Helen likes to volunteer and involve community services and professional activities.

Since joining at TE Connectivity, she has been chairing a technical seminar series and serves at the organising committee for the corporation’s technical conference.

Helen also served in Board of Directors in North America Chinese Semiconductor Association (NSCSA) from 2007 to 2012.
