Heidi Mumia is a public sector professional with extensive experience in trade policy, entrepreneurship and local economic development.
A graduate of Business Administration, she has extensive experience in policy development and review, programme design and implementation, strategic planning and budgeting – both at national and regional government levels. She is an alumna of the Young Africa Leaders Initiative and the Talent for Governance Programme.
With strong commitment to community service, she is one of the founding members of the Rotary Club of Kwale where she serves as a Member of Board of Directors. She has initiated several social projects in Kwale.
As the County Trade Development Officer for the County Government of Kwale, she provides support for micro and small enterprises development through training, business development services, market linkages and business financing.
Heidi is a youth leader, mentor and a champion of youth participation in governance.
As a Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) Mentor, she provides guidance to encourage the learning and development of entrepreneurial skills in selected applicants.
