Georgina Wells

Georgina Wells

Georgina Wells is the Chief Executive Office at Action for Children – a UK national children’s charity that ensures any child who needs help, gets help, whatever their background and wherever they are in the UK.

She has been an Executive Assistant for over ten years for both local councils and for charities. She has also organised and managed portfolio of transformation events across government departments.

Her areas of expertise include:

  • entrepreneurialism
  • leadership
  • communication
  • team building
  • as well as change and resilience.

Georgina has successfully started, nurtured and sold four of her own businesses – one catering company, a chain of internal lingerie stores, a shoe shop and a small management consultancy. She has also volunteered in the past with TSBC as a mentor working with young women leaving prison who want to start their own business.

Georgina has lived in countries all around the world, living in 20 homes in 31 years, which has taught her how to be adaptable and resilient. Her experience in this regard has also made her good at helping others to adapt to change and build a well of resilience to draw on.
