Fayola Nicholas is the Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations Centre at the University of the West Indies (UWI) – Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, Trinidad and Tobago.
She has played a prominent role at the school – leading development consulting, fundraising and the school’s rebranding and engagement with stakeholders.
Fayola previously held the positions of Director of the Market Development Centre and Director of Human Resources at the school and lectures in the area of Consumer Behaviour and Cross-Cultural Marketing.
Fayola recently published a chapter in Global Observations of Culture on Consumer Buying Behaviour by IGI Global Publishing. She is currently leading a project funded by the European Commission to improve the measures to support Trinidad and Tobago’s Civil Society Organisations in business and economic development.
Prior to her career in higher education, Fayola worked in marketing for ten years. She heldpositions in various multinational and local fast-moving consumer goods companies – including Coca-Cola Caribbean, Unilever Caribbean Ltd and Carib Brewery Ltd.
Fayola is currently enrolled in Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, and is working towards her doctorate in Business Management specialising in Branding.
She holds an International MBA from the UWI Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and a bachelors in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies.
