Destiny Obiakoeze is the Founder and Head of Strategy of Elbativeni Impressions and Consult – a communications, public relations and integrated marketing company.
She is an alumna of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centre (RLC) Accra, Ghana and a Member of the Board of Trustees at Just Care Nigeria.
Destiny has a masters degree in International Affairs and Strategic Studies, a bachelors in Mass Communication and a post-graduate Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations. Destiny is also an Associate Registered Practitioner in Advertising (ARPA) of the Advertising Practitioners’ Council of Nigeria (APCON).
With more than eight years broadcast journalism experience, Destiny was Host and Producer of the live phone-in youth television programme, Zesty Zone. Zesty Zone ran weekly for more than four years on two of the state’s television stations – Capital TV and Kaduna State Television.
Destiny was also the Host and Producer of the live phone-in programme Groove 'n' Talk which was also on the radio station of the Kaduna State Media corporation (KSMC). She has served in several roles for Telecom Today, a weekly television programme sponsored by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
She is the Convener of the Generation Next Youth Empowerment Summit, whose mission is to build young leaders as change agents while helping them to optimise their potential.
