Daniel O'Driscoll grew up in a socially diverse part of London, and has had a varied and fruitful career. He was an apprentice professional sports person during his time at university, but after suffering an injury, he was forced to take another career path.
Daniel started his career in technology consulting, moved to medical device sales and then finally banking and leadership. His banking and finance career has afforded him a vocational education, as he won an MBA scholarship for Finance from Lloyds Banking Group.
He has also been successful in seeking opportunities to experience new countries and cultures.
Daniel has lived in South Africa for four years, and has also worked in London, UK, and Guernsey in the Channel Islands. He currently lives in Jersey – also in the English Channel – where he has been a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank International.
Daniel recently sat on a sub-committee of Guernsey Investment Funds Association (Education) and the full committee of the Association of Guernsey Banks. He currently mentors masters and MBA cohorts through Durham University Business School.
