Dr Collins Santhanasamy is the founder of M Exchange, a pilot project that has been hosting free medical camps and building schools for underprivileged children in Bangladesh since 2013.
Collins is also
- the Country Director for the Magical Light Foundation since 2016
- the Vice President of the Doctors Chapter of Malaysian Medics International, since mid 2017
- and an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society.
Coming from a mixed background, Collins has volunteered in several countries across Asia – working with local people and developing capacities – including:

Applying insights gained from the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity, Collins believes that service projects must develop capacities within the grassroots and be sustainable.
Collins has an extensive network of dedicated and hardworking volunteers spanning across several non-profit groups in Bangladesh. They enable him to work to provide free healthcare, education and relief aid to thousands of people – irrespective of race, religion, social status or creed.
