Chimwemwe John Paul Manyozo

Chimwemwe John Paul Manyozo is a changemaker, writer, blogger and specialist in international development, media and communications.

He has strong skills and experience in establishing and managing youth movements, publicity and visibility, human rights and blogging.

Chimwemwe has successfully developed two youth movements, Maphunziro265 and Youth to Youth Empowerment (Y2YE) in Malawi. Between them these organisations have reached over 10,000 youth offering motivational talks, mentorship, skills development training and scholarships.

Chimwemwe has over seven years experience with print and electronic media. He has worked as a producer and presenter for the Zodiak Broadcasting Station where he produced programmes and developed radio projects covering various development issues.

He has also worked at the Public Relations Office of the Malawi Human Rights Commission.

Chimwemwe writes regularly for national and international media on development issue and policies. He is Chevening Alumnus and Associate Fellow of Royal Commonwealth Society.

Chimwemwe has a masters in Development Studies from the University of Sussex and a bachelors in Media for Development from the University of Malawi.
