Beth has spent the past eight years with Restless Development delivering programmes which enable young people to lead development in their communities and countries.
She led Restless Development’s work on strengthening the youth sector by providing capacity development support for organisations ranging from grassroots youth-led groups to donor agencies and the United Nations.
Beth has trained and supported over 150 young leaders and their organisations from over 35 countries who are working to reduce the prevalence of HIV.
As Country Director, she led Restless Development’s team in Zambia who are working to empower young people to:
- make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health
- secure a productive livelihood
- and to play a key role in decision-making at community to national level.
She returned to London to join Restless Development's senior management team as an International Director.
Beth recently made the tough decision to leave Restless Development to pursue a new challenge with a new organisation. She has just joined Comic Relief as an International Grants Manager on its Children and Young People portfolio.
