Audu Kadiri is a public health advocate, community organiser and a human rights advocate involved in HIV advocacy, youth development and community development.
He has over ten years experience working in the field of HIV and AIDS. He is the Community Vice Chair of International Rectal Microbicides Advocates (IRMA), and the IRMA Nigeria Chapter Co-ordinator.
Audu is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of:
- Youth Builders Initiative – a youth focused organisation based in Lagos
- and Galadimawa Progressive Youth Association grassroots initiative with a mandate to mobilise youths and resources within the local community to address the developmental issues.
Audu is also a member of different networks and organisations locally and internationally. He has represented Nigeria in various international conferences on HIV.
Audu works presently as a Community Organiser with African Communities Together (ACT). ACT is a civil rights organisation based in New York City, providing help to African Immigrants in the United States, linking them up with immigration assistance, job referrals, leadership development and other lifesaving services.
