Ana-Maria Boghean is the Deputy Co-ordinator of the International Platform of Francophone Youth Networks (PIRJEF), which plays a fundamental role in advocating for the interests of francophone youth. She is also an interlocutor for the International Organisation of La Francophonie.
Ana-Maria has a multidisciplinary background and an international mindset – with a keen interest in international relations, diplomacy, community development, education and human rights, especially youth and young women rights.
At a very early age, she started collaborating with several non-governmental organisations, being convinced that the world becomes better only with our will and our common efforts.
Ana-Maria has participated in numerous youth representation events, including the 54th session of the UN Commission on Social Development. Here she delivered a speech on young people's involvement in changing communities and shaping a new society in francophone countries.
Ana-Maria holds a masters in Management Science, specialising in both Public Management and European Affairs. She also holds a bachelors in Geography and French and has followed a master programme on International Relations and European Integration at the National School of Political Science and Public Administration in Romania.
