Sweetie Anang

Sweetie Anang is a web and mobile applications developer with more than four years experience in the Ghanaian IT industry.

In 2016, Sweetie Anang was recognised by the Queen’s Young Leaders Award for encouraging girls to get involved with science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). 

But she came to the programme with “an idea to start a non-profit for stroke survivors” and during her Queen's Young Leaders Year, co-founded the Stroke Aid Foundation in Ghana.

Sweetie is passionate about health, wellbeing STEM education and gender equality.

She strongly believes that every human on earth should have access to healthcare, regardless of their financial status.
