Nondumiso N Hlophe

Nondumiso N Hlophe is an analyst, consultant and writer. She holds an honours degree – with an emphasis on International Relations – in Political and International Studies from Rhodes University.

As a social advocate, her passions are education and gender equality.

Noni is the Founding Curator of the Mbabane Hub – a registered non-profit organisation – in the Kingdom of Swaziland.

Mbabane Hub is a youth-led and youth-driven chapter of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. It is an example of exceptional young people working together for the enrichment of the greater Mbabane city and the people of Swaziland. 

She was named an inaugural Queen's Young Leader Award winner in 2015 for her volunteerism history and leadership in the Commonwealth. She is also an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society.

In 2017, Noni was named one of Africa’s Brightest Young Minds and was an African Union-European Union Youth Plug-In Initiative (AUEUYPII) Fellow. In the same year she was one of 36 policy writers and contributors to the Youth Agenda that was presented at the Fifth AU-EU Heads of States Summit.
