Alicia Wallace

Alicia Wallace is a non-profit strategist, social commentator and women’s right activist. Her work is focused on education and engagement towards the goal of achieving gender equality and democracy-building.

Alicia is passionate about social justice and youth participation in creating a better world. She serves as a Youth Ambassador for the Bahamas on Sexual Violence.

In 2014, Wallace launched Equality Bahamas, a human rights organisation that focuses on women's and girls’ rights through community education, engagement, and empowerment. She also serves as the Director of Hollaback! Bahamas – part of a movement to end street harassment. In 2015, she created World Merit Bahamas and Out Da Box in 2017.

Alicia is a 2015 Queen's Young Leader and took part in the June 2017 Queen's Young Leaders' residential in Cambridge.
