Nicole Brown is a graduate of the University of Melbourne having completed a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Structural Engineering. She is now working as a graduate structural engineer at Calibre Consulting in Melbourne, Australia.
Nicole is an active volunteer in the community. From January 2013 to December 2016, she was the Chief Executive Officer of Robogals Global – an international organisation which empowers young women to pursue engineering by creating a community which welcomes everyone.
During her time in this position, Nicole:
- expanded Robogals to operate in over ten countries
- inspired over 60,000 young women through interactive workshops
- worked with over 2,500 volunteers
- and established a new international management structure which allowed Robogals to build a strong foundation for future expansion.
She continues her passion for empowering youth through the Queens Young Leaders Programme as the Chair of the Legacy Panel – a group which is dedicated to building and supporting a strong and collaborative network of alumni which will continue to exist for many years to come.
Nicole was a Highly Commended Runner-Up in 2015 and has been involved throughout every aspect of the programme since receiving this honour. She is passionate about empowering positive change in our community and supporting an international network of changemakers.
