Dr Kamla Mungal holds a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Education from the University of the West Indies (UWI).
She has also completed the Executive MBA at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and earned her PhD from Aston University, Birmingham, UK.
Dr Mungal has served as a part-time lecturer at the UWI since 1999 and also lectures in Curriculum at the Mount Saint Vincent University, Canada.
In her career at the Ministry of Education, Dr Mungal taught at all levels of the system and served as Principal for four years. She has also worked as a Curriculum Officer and served as Programme Director for the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association and Mount Saint Vincent University Masters in Education programme.
She led the implementation of the quality components of the Fourth Basic Education (World Bank) Project in Trinidad and Tobago and is presently the Academic Director at the Lok Jack Graduate School of Business in Trinidad.
